1. Introduction
AleyLabs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Polara mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use Polara.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account or use the App, we may collect:
- Account identifiers — Firebase Authentication user ID (for registered accounts) or an anonymous guest identifier (for guest sessions)
- Birth details — date of birth, time of birth, and location of birth
- Timezone — your device or manually selected timezone
- Astrological and profile data — zodiac sign and any profile preferences derived from the above inputs
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, we and our third-party partners may automatically collect:
- Device information — device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- Advertising ID — Google Advertising ID (GAID), used to serve and measure personalized advertisements
- Usage data — features accessed, session duration, in-app interactions, crash reports
- Analytics data — collected via Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users engage with the App
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide core App functionality — generate astrological charts, readings, and personalized content based on your birth details, timezone, and profile
- Authenticate users — manage sign-in and guest sessions via Firebase Authentication
- Store and sync data — save your profile and preferences using Cloud Firestore, and execute server-side logic via Cloud Functions
- Display advertisements — serve ads to all users through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) using your Advertising ID
- Analyze and improve the App — use aggregated analytics data to understand usage patterns and fix bugs
- Communicate with you — respond to support inquiries or privacy requests
4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with the following third-party services as necessary to operate the App:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights or safety of AleyLabs or users, or in connection with a business transfer or acquisition.
5. Advertising and Advertising ID
All users of Polara see advertisements served by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). To deliver and measure ads, Google may collect and use your Google Advertising ID (GAID).
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by adjusting your device settings:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
Even after opting out, you may still see non-personalized ads. For more information, see Google's Ads Policy.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption in transit — all data transmitted between the App and our servers uses TLS (HTTPS)
- Firebase security rules — access to Cloud Firestore data is restricted to authenticated users and enforced via server-side security rules
- Access controls — only authorized personnel and automated systems have access to backend infrastructure
- Limited data retention — we retain data only as long as necessary (see Section 7)

7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services.
To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at:

Please include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line and provide the email address or user identifier associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion.
Upon deletion, we will remove:
- Your Firebase Authentication account and identifiers
- Your profile data stored in Cloud Firestore (birth details, timezone, zodiac/profile information)
- Any other personal data we hold that is linked to your account
Some data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form that cannot identify you, or where retention is required by applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
Polara is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at amir.zahlan@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your personal data (see Section 7)
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a structured format

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you within the App or by other means. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
