Order ready alerts
Orders land on a kitchen display, and the guest is notified over SMS or WhatsApp when theirs is ready.
1. Problem
At peak hours, guests either queue at the counter or give up on a second round, and staff burn their shift taking and relaying orders by hand.
2. Solution
A QR-based ordering flow with a dual-currency digital menu, a kitchen display for staff, and SMS/WhatsApp notifications, set up in about 15 minutes with no extra hardware.
3. Impact
Pilot modelling points to roughly a 24% larger average basket from frictionless reorders, and hours of order-taking removed from a weekly shift.
How it works
- The venue uploads its menu and prints a code per table. About 15 minutes, no hardware required.
- A guest scans the code and browses the menu on their own phone, priced in USD and LBP.
- The order appears on the kitchen display with the table number, so staff never relay it by hand.
- The guest is notified when it is ready and pays at the table, in cash or card.
